Harry
Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the pop world is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, together with his fellow classmates, formed a music group dubbed White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing results. He was always interested in music, but also wanted to work as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even scout. He worked in a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. Because of this, his group had to be split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of a future band that would be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation began in 2010 and the five members were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates to win the award. The band was in the third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds in a contract for One Direction.
